The Golden God Collection channels the euphoric feeling of screaming your favourite songs into the void and feeling on top of the world doing it!
Each upcycled head is from a renowned drummer in Canadian rock and their music has inspired me to use these surfaces as canvases for art.

This collection is raising funds for The Awesome Music Project.
This charity offers youth and senior focused workshops that include engagement with experts, facilitated peer-to-peer discussions, music therapy, and storytelling. These programs aim to nurture self-expression, boost confidence, foster resilience, create a stronger sense of community, improve wellness and reduce stress and anxiety.

“A while back in the pandemic I was approached by Arianna about acquiring some used drum heads as she was exploring some of her own personal demons through painting on them along side aiming to do something positive for both BIPOC and the LGBTQS community. I said of course I would donate whatever I had! It took a while but eventually I handed a few off to her to do the thing she does. Although I am not a direct member to either of those communities I do have many friends and acquaintances within and whole heartedly loathe and reject our current sociopolitical attacks on these groups. As one who has his own mental health concerns I am happy to contribute to this project - much better than contributing to land fill, I’d say!”
